One of our major fights as a union has been to obtain benefits for ourselves that would be guaranteed through our collective agreements. For twenty years, our local has been fighting to obtain any substantial benefits at all: we have no health care benefits, no dental benefits, no pension benefits. All the while, university senior administration salaries and compensations continue to raise astronomically.

What’s more, with EI depletion, we are quickly losing the only (and meager) benefit we have!
