Job Summary & Key Responsibilities The Sessional Lecturer will teach HESA 6366 and 6367: Healthcare Law and Policy: Current Issues I and II in the Master of Health Administration program for the academic year 2021-2022 (September 2021 – April 2022). Together these two courses are the equivalent of a one-half credit course, each being worth 1.5 credits. Responsibilities include: planning and directing all learning activities including seminars, classroom based discussions and course work. Marking assignments and providing tutorial support to students is required. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course. The position reports to the Director of the School.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position -Juris Doctor (JD) and a strong background in health law .
– relevant teaching experience in a health context is preferred as is experience with Brightspace.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position Master’s degree in health administration or business administration is required. Expertise in quality management and health services, and relevant teaching experience is an asset.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position A master’s degree in health administration or relevant equivalent is required along with a minimum of five years work experience in the health sector. Experience as a mid to senior administrator in healthcare would be viewed favourably. Previous teaching experience is a strong asset. Experience with Brightspace is preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position PhD degree and teaching experience in ‘administrative decision making’. Individuals with an MHA or MBAdegree and teaching experience in decision making, may be considered. Experience of as a mid to senior administrator in healthcare would be viewed favourably.
